Health Talk, Fashion Show, Dance mark Women�s Day at Tata Motors

Jamshedpur, March 8: The 104th�International Women�s Day was celebrated in Tata Motors Jamshedpur Plant on�Sunday, March 8�with a day-long, colourful program, which was attended by over 500 lady employees from TML, TML Drivelines, TTL, delegates from other Tata Group Companies like Tinplate, TRF and esteemed guests.

This year celebration has also involved key stake holders by conducting multiple events in the runway to the todays main event. Events like �Making Innovative Breakfast� and �Wall Hanging making contest� saw huge participation from housewives from Telco colony while lady teachers of the Tata Motors aided schools participated enthusiastically in the �Public Speaking� competition. These events were conducted days before the women�s day celebration. A stall from one of the NGOs making beauty products was also set up in the event venue for sale of its products directly contributing to volunteering.

On Women�s Day, multiple events on women-centric themes such as Health Talk by Dr. Shabnam of Tata Motors hospital, SHAR Policy by Dr. Rekha Chandra, a talk on �My journey in Tata Motors� by Ms Vina Mitra and a talk on �The Pains & Gains of being a working woman� by Ms Sunita Sinha, Principal, Gulmohar School were delivered. �

The day also had many fun-filled activities lined up like Rangoli, Mehendi Art, Nail Art, Extempore speech, Fashion Show (showcasing Couples of Bollywood) and Dance contest.

While the employees showcased their talents by wholeheartedly participating in the contests, the wives of senior executives had an exciting time judging the events.

The event was graced by a number of senior lady employees, delegates from the sponsors, winners of contests held for housewives and school teachers, principals of Tata Motors aided schools and spouses of Senior Executives, including Mrs. Bharti Lall, who was Chief Guest on the occasion.
