Jamshedpur, Sept 18: In a major breakthrough, police have solved the daring daylight robbery at Vardhman Jewellers in Sonari on September 3.

Three members of an inter-state gang have been arrested with arms, vehicles, and mobile phones, exposing a well-organized network targeting jewelry shops across states.

According to City SP Kumar Shivashish, a special police team was formed immediately after the incident. Acting on CCTV footage, technical surveillance, and secret inputs, the team raided multiple locations and nabbed the criminals.

A country-made pistol, a magazine, two live cartridges, a car used in the heist, two motorcycles, and five mobile phones were seized from their possession.

During interrogation, it was revealed that the arrested men are part of a gang active in Jharkhand, Bihar, and West Bengal.

The gang has been systematically targeting jewelry outlets, striking in organized fashion across different states. Police have already identified other members of the group and are carrying out raids to apprehend them.

The seized arms and vehicles are being sent to forensic labs to verify their direct use in the robbery. Officials added that the gang’s pattern of operations indicates a larger network that police are now determined to dismantle.

The swift action of Jamshedpur police has not only cracked a high-profile case but also reassured citizens of stronger law enforcement.

Authorities have promised strict legal action against all those involved, ensuring the entire gang is brought to justice.
