Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur East launches Covid-19 awareness drive for children

Jamshedpur, Sept 21: In the wake of many children getting infected with COVID-19, Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur East created awareness about basic COVID-19 Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) among students and teachers of Red Rose School, Mango on Tuesday, September 21. The club also launched awareness campaign in and around the school area creating awareness about basic measures that need to be followed to keep the novel coronavirus at bay.

Keynote speaker for the occasion was former club president, Ira Bandopadhyay. 

She highlighted the preventive measures to be taken specially by the school kids to remian safe from the infection.

“The second wave of Covid-19 is not over yet and we need to follow all protocols to keep ourself, family and society safe from the deadly virus,” said Ira Bandopadhyay.

Addressing the school students she emphasized on not shaking hands, follow social distancing norms, wash hands, wear masks, avoid crowded places, use soap and sanitizer regularly.

Present on the occasion  were club president Sonali Mohanty, Ira Bandopadhyay, Neelima Prakash, Manjari Bhattacharya, and former club member Ashoka Prasad.
