Jamshedpur, Nov. 30: Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur donated 154 pairs of black school shoes to children of Langeratekri Primary school, Jugsalai during a programme held on Tuesday.
The Club adopted the school in July 2016 and started working towards the upliftment of the school and children.
Seeing the children coming to school wearing slippers or bare foot, the club members decided to give shoes to all the students.
The Club also provided 26 desks and benches to the school where previously the children used to sit on floor and water filters to provide clean drinking water facilities to children.
