Jamshedpur: The BJP Jamshedpur Mahanagar unit inaugurated a special exhibition at the Transport Ground in Agrico on Tuesday. Coinciding with the death anniversary of Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee, observed as Balidan Diwas (Martyrdom Day), the showcase tracks India’s journey through self-reliance, national security, and cultural renaissance from 2014 to 2026.
Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato, State Vice President Abha Mahato, and State Spokesperson Abhay Singh, along with former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das, jointly opened the exhibition. The displays track major policy shifts across the Modi government’s three terms, focusing on infrastructure, welfare schemes, digital transformation, and foreign policy.
“A Golden Era of Development and Heritage” — Raghubar Das
Addressing the gathering, former CM Raghubar Das highlighted that the last 12 years have achieved an unprecedented blend of world-class modernization and cultural pride.
“The Modi era has seamlessly linked India’s high-tech advancement with its rich civilization. While the country expanded its digital economy and infrastructure, it simultaneously reclaimed its national pride and spiritual heritage on the global stage,” Das remarked.
From Policy Paralysis to Global Economic Powerhouse
Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato delivered a sharp political evaluation, contrasting the current administration with the pre-2014 landscape.
“Before 2014, India was trapped in policy paralysis and systemic corruption that choked public welfare schemes. Today, India stands as the world’s fastest-growing major economy,” Mahato stated.
Mahato also pointed to structural changes in national defence and localized achievements, stating, “Under PM Modi’s leadership, India’s armed forces execute cross-border operations to eliminate threats, displaying a completely redefined national confidence.” He concluded by thanking the voters of Jamshedpur for helping PM Modi secure his historic tenure as India’s longest-serving elected head of government.
