Jamshedpur: The East Singhbhum district unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday resolved to take the ideals and national contributions of Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee to the masses. The decision was taken during a meeting of district office-bearers and Mandal presidents held in Ghatshila to mark Dr. Mukherjee’s Balidan Diwas (Martyrdom Day).
BJP district in-charge Dinesh Kumar announced that the BJP will organize a series of programs from June 23 to July 6 to commemorate Dr. Mukherjee’s 125th birth anniversary. The leadership informed grassroots workers that BJP State Vice President Bhanu Pratap Shahi will undertake an intensive 24-hour visit to East Singhbhum later this month.
BJP East Singhbhum District President Satya Tiwari urged all office-bearers to execute party programs with sincerity and added that Dr. Mukherjee’s ideals continue to inspire generations of public servants.
