If cows are unhappy, how can gods be pleased: Sadhvi Saraswati in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: Sadhvi Shraddha Gopal Saraswati Ji said that the ‘Vedlakshana Gaumata’ (sacred cow) is the ‘Jagat Janani’ (Mother of the World) on the first day of the three-day Gau Kripa Katha organized by Dhyan Foundation Golok Chakulia at the Narbheram Hansraj English School auditorium in Jamshedpur’s Bistupur on Thursday.

She stressed the need to eliminate misconceptions about cows and initiate a nationwide cow-centric revolution.

Highlighting the integral role of cows in preserving Hindutva, Sadhvi ji said that every Indian must protect and serve the cow, revered as a mother, to uphold the nation’s cultural and spiritual identity.

She added that only by protecting cows can India reclaim its status as a global spiritual leader.

Sadhvi Ji elaborated on the spiritual importance of cows, asserting that their blessings are essential for prosperity.

“If cows, who are beloved to the divine, are unhappy, how can the gods be pleased?” she questioned.

She also shared references to ancient texts, describing how Lord Krishna revered cows and how they were central to India’s Sanatan culture.

Sadhvi Ji cited the tale of Gokarnji, whose divine emergence was linked to cows, and narrated instances from mythology where Gaumata, also known as Kamdhenu, blessed the gods to defeat demons in battles.

She urged the audience to abandon the misconception of cows as mere animals and recognize their sanctity, as validated by scriptural evidence.

The three-day Gau Kripa Katha, organized by Dhyan Foundation Golok Chakulia, was inaugurated with the ceremonial worship of the Vyasa Peeth by the chief patron Rajkumar Agarwal along with his family.

Former Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Arjun Munda, graced the occasion and received blessings from the Vyasa Peeth. The event also witnessed the presence of prominent personalities, including former MLA Dineshanand Goswami and members of the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce. Devotees from Chaibasa, Kolkata, and other regions attended the Katha in large numbers.
