Jamshedpur: Ichagarh MLA Sadhucharan Mahato met the family members of lightning victims, late Malkhan Mahato and late Khagesh Mahato, in Dungridih village of Chandil block and extended financial help to them on Saturday.
He also met the kin of Ratanlal Mahato, who was injured by lightning recently. He condoled the deaths and promised to help the family in future.
The legislator asked the villagers not to venture out during rains as lightning could prove fatal.
He asked people not to gather under trees, poles or at open places while it is raining.
