Hardcore Naxalite Kuleshwar Kumar Yadav arrested by Lohardaga Police

Lohardaga: In a significant development towards countering extremism, Lohardaga Police conducted a special operation that led to the apprehension of hardcore Naxalite Kuleshwar Kumar Yadav, also known as Ditol Yadav, affiliated with the banned militant organization TPC. Yadav was arrested in Palamau and subsequently placed in custody. Lohardaga Police Captain Harish Bin Zaman shared this information during a press conference held on Saturday.

The arrest followed a demand for a ten lakh rupees levy. According to Lohardaga SP Harish Bin Zaman, the private company “Right” was engaged in the construction of three high-level bridges in Chaupa Pakhal Nala, Duldubwa Nala, and Bulbul Nala, situated in Bulbul village Kerar under the jurisdiction of the Peshrar police station. TPC militants had demanded a levy of Rs 10 lakh from the contractor representing Way Commerce Private Limited. This levy demand was made at the behest of Prabhat ji and Vikas ji, the zonal commanders of the banned Naxalite organization TPC.

Upon receiving information about the case, Lohardaga police initiated swift action to address the situation.
