Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Prakash Parv: Preparations in full swing in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Nov 4: Preparations for the upcoming Nagar Kirtan on the occasion of Prakash Parv of Guru Nanak Dev Ji are in full swing across the city. Various Gurudwara committees are busy preparing for the grand event which would commence at Gauri Shankar Road Gurudwara Sahib in Jugsalai on 8th November at 11 am. The Kirtan would pass through Jugsalai railway level crossing, Bistupur, Gopal Maidan roundabout, Jusco Town Office, Keenan Stadium and Kalimati Road before culminating at the Sakchi roundabout. Horse mounted devotees would lead the procession. Women devotees have been requested to abstain from wearing ornaments. Stunts, fireworks and addiction of all sorts would be completely banned during the Kirtan. All committees have been asked to set up 20 feet high arcades to welcome the Nagar Kirtan and devotees.
