Jamshedpur: The auspicious occasion of Ram Navami was celebrated with grandeur at the Telco Andhra Samiti Ganesh Mandir, culminating in the symbolic coronation (Pattabhishek) of Lord Ram. The five-day celebration concluded with a special ceremony that drew large numbers of devotees.
The idol of Lord Ram was beautifully adorned with flowers, and special prasad and bhog were offered. The rituals were performed with full devotion by the priest, accompanied by the chanting of Vedic mantras. Aarti was offered to Lord Ram amidst an atmosphere filled with the fragrance of the Yagya, and the temple echoed with devotional chants.
During the ceremony, the priest narrated episodes from Lord Ram’s life, emphasizing his values and teachings. General Secretary K Ram Mohan Rao highlighted that Lord Ram’s reign was marked by justice, equality, and care for all, and expressed the need for such leadership in today’s times.
The event concluded with the distribution of Maha Bhog to all devotees. Key contributors to the success of the program included Rajasekhar Rao, C S R Murthy, Narayan Rao, Ishwar Rao, Murali Mohan, and several others including dedicated volunteers like Sangeetha, Padma, and Aruna.
