Gram Gaadi Yojana: Five-year Road Tax exemption announced

Ranchi: In a recent meeting chaired by the Deputy Transport Commissioner cum Secretary of South Chhotanagpur Division, the successful implementation of the Gram Gaadi Yojana-2022 took center stage. Vehicle owners actively participated in the discussions, where DTO Praveen Prakash provided key insights into the scheme.

Under the Gram Gaadi Yojana, it was revealed that vehicles purchased through the program would enjoy a notable benefit—exemption from road tax for a period of five years. The Deputy Transport Commissioner encouraged the vehicle owners to take advantage of the subsidy provided for vehicle purchases and highlighted the favorable installment options available for financed vehicles under the scheme.

During the meeting, some vehicle owners committed to providing five vehicles immediately in support of the initiative. Meanwhile, others requested additional time to make their vehicle purchases.
