Government for development, welfare of all masses in Jharkhand: Hemant 

CM asks masses to come forward to reap benefits from government schemes 

Ranchi, Feb 2: Chief minister Hemant Soren who was in Dumka for the 43rd foundation day function of JMM expressed commitment of the government for all round development and welfare of masses. 
“The government is making action plans keeping in mind the interests of all classes and sections, including SC/ST, backward, minorities, poor, needy, farmer, labourers, youth and women. The work of implementing the development plans on the ground is going on at a brisk pace. The government is serious about resolving the problems of the people and constant instructions are being given to the officers for their proper solution,” said Soren. 

Calling upon people to participate in the governance, Soren said, “It is your government and you will get your rights, rights and respect. Through the “Aapke Adhikar Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar” program, the work of connecting people with the public welfare schemes of the government was done successfully by organizing camps in every panchayat of the state and solving their problems on the spot. Our government is working to give you your rights and rights by coming to your doorstep. With the cooperation of the people of the state, we are able to take the development to the last rung of society.”

The Chief Minister speaking about the Universal Pension Scheme and said, “The restriction of maximum number to get pension under this scheme has been done away with. All the eligible beneficiaries will now get pensions.”
 The Chief Minister informed that the poor are now being given subsidy on 10 liters of petrol every month at the rate of Rs 25 per liter on petrol every month. 
Chief Minister apprised the people about the various development and welfare schemes being run by the government and asked them to come forward to take advantage of it.

The Chief Minister said that the para teachers had been agitating for their demands for a long time. But, his problem was not getting resolved. Taking positive steps on the demands of para teachers, the government took decision for their benefit and now para teachers will be able to work with full respect. The government is making continuous efforts for the development of education. Resources are being made available to provide quality education in government schools. At the same time, the government has also started a scheme to give 100% scholarship to tribal students for pursuing higher education abroad.

The Chief Minister said that the steps taken by the state government to deal with the Covid pandemic are being seen as an example. 
“Our government managed to control the global pandemic like COVID-19 with the help of limited resources and better management and cooperation of the people. Not only this, during the lockdown, when the world came to a standstill, for life and livelihood in that difficult and challenging period, the government made action plans at every level and implemented them in the best way. Stranded laborers in other states were brought back through flights, trains and buses and other vehicles. At the same time, free food was provided to the poor and needy, ” said Soren asking people to abide by government’s guidelines on Covid appropriate behaviour. 
The function was also addressed by Rajya Sabha MP Shibu Soren, MLA Nalin Soren, Sita Soren and Basant Soren.
