Jamshedpur, Aug 25: Members of the managing committee of Ganesh Hanuman Mandir in Uttamdih of Gamharia Block planted saplings of a variety of trees in the field in front of the temple on the occasion of Ganesh Puja celebrations. Leading the committee team was JMM district president Dipak Mahto. He said on the occasion that prevention against coronavirus infection was the best remedy. He urged the people to use masks, wash their hands regularly with soap and sanitizer, maintain social distancing and stay indoors unti absolutely necessary to venture out. He also asked the people to plant at least one sapling in front of their houses as contribution towards a cleaner and safer environment. Others present on the occasion were JMM district vice president Amrit Mahto who provided the saplings. Party block president Jagdish Mahto, district committee member Niranjan Mahto, Basant Mahto, Satya Mahto, Sagar Mahto, Nepal Mahto, Buddheshwar Mahto, Ghanshyam Mahto and others were also present.
