Prof Kashinath Mahto honoured

Jamshedpur, Aug 25: The Chandigarh University has honoured Prof Kashinath Mahto for fostering qualitative education among the poor, backward and Adivasi majority community. Prof Mahto of Asanbani Inter College has been unwaveringly trying to create a proper educational atmosphere among these people and his striving for excellence in bringing education into their lives has been lauded in many quarters. Prof Kashinath Mahto said that the Asanbani Inter College has become the hub of learning for students from financially weak backgrounds and from Adivasi majority places. A team from Chandigarh University surveyed the quality of education being imparted to the students in the College and the teaching module. A joyous but modest Prof Kashinath observed, �This recognition from Chandigarh University is a far greater honor than the world of money put together can give.�
