Gamharia: Gram Sabha settles dispute over Ganesh Puja

Gamharia, Aug 23: A gram sabha was organized at Panchayat Secretariat in Gamharia on Tuesday to discuss a dispute arising from the celebration of Ganesh Puja at Chhota Gamharia Durga Puja ground. It was chaired by the Gram Pradhan Suraj Lal Mahato. He said the dispute arose when a group of local residents decided to celebrate Ganesh Puja on the pucca platform used to celebrate Durga Puja by another group of residents. Both groups of residents unanimously decided to make peace and the new group has been asked to organize Ganesh Puja elsewhere.
