FTS Yuva Launches Gurukul Summer Quest 2.0 in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: Friends of Tribal Society (FTS) Yuva Jamshedpur launched “Gurukul Summer Quest 2.0” on Sunday, a summer learning initiative that fosters holistic development among children through Indian culture, moral values, yoga, and creative activities.

Mentors Rashmi Garg and Shweta Goyal (Treasurer of FTS Yuva Jamshedpur) are guiding the programme. Saurav Sonthalia (President of FTS Yuva Jamshedpur), Poonam Agarwal (Secretary), and Piyush Choudhary attended the inaugural session alongside the participating children and their parents.

Addressing the gathering, Rashmi Garg described the initiative as a meaningful platform for the all-round development of children. Saurav Sonthalia encouraged participants to cultivate positive thinking, discipline, and self-confidence, while Piyush Choudhary urged them to engage actively in every activity and maximize their learning opportunities.

On the first day, children participated enthusiastically in a range of activities, including Super Brain Yoga, tree planting, meditation, and interactive learning sessions. The organizers designed these activities to combine education with enjoyment while nurturing values, creativity, and environmental awareness.

The organizers stated that the programme aims to strengthen personality development, self-confidence, discipline, and environmental sensitivity among young participants. Through a blend of learning and recreation, Gurukul Summer Quest 2.0 seeks to provide children with a meaningful and enriching summer experience.
