Four year-old drowns in drain near Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, May 21: A four-year old boy, identified as Honey Rana, son of Muglu Rana, a resident of Nutandih Tola under Guhiapal panchayat of Baharagora, drowned in a drain near his house on Saturday, police said.

The tragedy occurred in the morning when the boy went near the drain and started playing in the water. He fell into the water and drowned. Later, when his family members failed to find him around, they searched for him in the locality, but to no avail. Later, the boy’s body was found in the drain.

Police took out the minor’s body on getting information from the local residents and registered a case of unnatural death in this connection.
