Four nabbed for mortgaging cars taken on rent in Jamshedpur, 4 cars recovered from different locations

Jamshedpur, December 13: On Monday, the police busted a gang who used to take cars on rent and then mortgaged and nabbed four accused in the case. 
Police also recovered four cars from them. The accused arrested by the Azadnagar police were identified as Sanjay Pal alias Bapi, Ram Chandra Dubey, Gulshad and Ajay Kumar.
On their behest, raids were conducted in different areas of the city and vehicles were confiscated. During interrogation, it has been found that so far these people have cheated more than 20 people in this manner. 
On the basis of the case registered with the police, the police have recovered the respective cars. Police said that Ramchandra Dubey and Sanjay Pal alias Bapi were the kingpin of the gang. 
On Monday, Patmada DSP Sumit Kumar, while disclosing the matter, said that the gang members used to take on rent cars from other people. Used to pay rent to car owners for 2-3 months. After that, they used to stop giving money to the car owners and mortgage the car somewhere else.  Car owners keep chasing them for money and car.

 A person named Ajju Khan complained about the matter to the police station. In the course of investigation, the information about the whole matter came to the hands of the police. It was also learned that these people used to hire cars at the rate of Rs 15,000 per month. Later, they used to stop paying rent by creating some controversy in it.
