Jamshedpur, December 13: On Monday evening, criminals fired in Jawahar Nagar Road of Mango police station area. After getting information about the incident, the police of Mango and Ulidih police stations reached the spot. Investigation revealed that the criminals had come on a scooter.
Two empty cartridges have been recovered from the spot. However, police officials are not confirming this. The incident happened around 4 pm. Firing was done targeting the house of Naseer Khan, who lives in Jawahar Nagar number 13B. According to locals, there were two youths who opened fire.
Both were on the same scooter. He was going from Hayat Nagar towards Jawaharnagar Road. Meanwhile, the young man sitting behind on the scooter first parked the car near Nasir Khan’s house. Then the first shot was fired. The second firing was done just a short distance away from the house.
The intention behind the firing could not be ascertained however there were bullet marks on the wall of Nisar Khan’s house. Local people say that cartridges have been recovered from the spot. At present, the police is trying to identify the criminals through CCTV footage. Apart from this, inquiries are being made from the owner of the house and the local people about this.
