Jamshedpur, May 31: A short circuit led to fire in a hut with straw thatched roof. The house and all belongings of residents Mangal Murmu and Lakhan Murmu were completely gutted. Both are residents of Benashol Panchayat under Musabani block of East Singhbhum district. On being informed of the incident, Musabani BDO Seema Kumari immediately reached the scene of the fire mishap. Public representatives also reached the site of the fire devastated house. After inspecting the damages, Seema Kumari saw to it that tarpaulin and 25 kg rice were provided to the affected on the spot.
