Ranchi: Under the 40th national eye donation fortnight, ‘Blind Fold Run for Vision’ was organized by Kashyap Memorial Eye Bank and Eye Donation Awareness Club on Sunday. This run is being organized for the last 23 years.
Finance Minister Radha Krishna Kishore pledged to donate eyes in the program. Dr. Bimalesh Singh, Dr. Vibhuti Kashyap, Father Prabhat Kennedy, Padma Mukund Nayak, Dr. Shekhar Chaudhary (IMA Ranchi President) and members of JFCCI were present on this occasion.
The program concluded with the Finance Minister felicitating a total of 30 eye donor families.
A total of 10 groups participated in this Blind Fold Run for Vision. In Run for Vision, a pair of two people were made to run in which one participant was blindfolded. One winner and one runner from each group were felicitated.
The families who were felicitated in the programme included Mukhraj Rampuriya, Satya Narayan Agarwal, Usha Parsmoriya, Nandlal Rathore, Meera Budhiya, Gopal Ram Agarwal, Geeta Devi, Radheshyam Kejriwal, Anand Ram Bhagat, Rita Devi, Prema Dhanuka, Geeta Shri Malik, Anand Ram Bhagat, Geeta Shri Bajaj, Savitri Devi Tatya, Uma Mehta, Gauri Devi, Kailash Prasad Chaudhary, Kamala Devi, Sudeep Kumar Karma, Bal Mukund Gupta, Shanaya Devi, Lakshmi Devi, Jamuna Devi, Vimal Jain, Yogendra Narayan Sinha, Indu Agarwal, Santosh Kumar Agarwal and Meera Pratap Singh Raipath.
