Jamshedpur, October 7: Imran Khan has been on a roll since the start of the season for Jamshedpur FC and the winger attributes team’s outstanding form to the excellent relationship the players have on and off the field.
“We all have a good relationship within the team. Jordan, Siverio, Javie, Len and Sanan speaks a lot about the match on and off field, which help us to play better on matchdays. Everyone has good relationship and I am happy to see all of them working towards a common goal,” said Imran Khan.
He emphasizes that no one should get swayed by the initial results of the Jamshedpur FC as the season has just started. “The season is long and future is unpredictable. We have just started and we need to maintain the momentum. We need to work hard and do our best for the team and the fans. There are lot of work to be done and we are behind it,” he said.
The speedy winger is banking on fan support and is excited again to play in front of a packed stadium. “I am very happy to see you know, the fans are really pushing us and standing with us. When you play in front of a full stadium, there is a lot of motivation to play for,” he added.
“We need to win the shield and the ISL trophy this season and the support from the fans is the most important factor. We need such support in all our matches,” said Imran.
Jamshedpur FC sit in third place in the ISL table with nine points from four matches. The Men of Steel will face Hyderabad FC at the JRD Tata Sports Complex on October 21 in their next Indian Super League match.
