Jamshedpur, August 17: Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Monday said that state government is committed to provide corruption free governance.
It is also a duty of people of Jamshedpur to help keep the city clean and green and provide assistance to the corporate to maintain the beauty of the city.
Addressing the gathering after inaugurated the Laxminagar Premnagar Park, CM said, “In the next 18 months clean drinking water will be made available to every household of Jamshedpur.
Tata Steel is working phase wise in order to provide clean drinking water to steel city residents”.
Talking about the issues of street light, Das assured the people of installing LED Street lights in Jemco before Durga Puja so that people don’t face problems during the five-day festivity.
Chief Minister applauded the efforts of Tata Steel and Jusco of trying and making Jamshedpur a green and clean city.
While handing over the responsibility to the members of the Kendriya Vikas Samity, Laxminagar, Raghubar Das reiterated the dream and belief of J N Tata and also said that it is the responsibility of each and every citizen of Jamshedpur to help make the city a better place and in turn make Jharkhand one of the best State in India in the next five years and best in the world in 10 years.
On the Occasion Ashish Mathur, MD Jusco gave the Welcome address following which MD Tata Steel T V Narendran also addressed the audience.
Academic related books were distributed to the students of the Koshish Library by the Chief Minister & MD Tata Steel. Koshish Library is a small reading place developed by Jusco with Chairs, tables, power inverter and books for students preparing for competitive exams.
Also present at the function were DC East Singhbhum Dr. Amitabh Kaushal, SSP Anoop T Mathew, Tata Steel VP Sunil Bhaskaran, Tarun Daga MD Tinplate, Dr J J Irani, President & Secretary of TWU, CM’s Secretariat, Senior Leadership Team from Tata Steel and Jusco, representatives from Bharat Seva Ashram Sangh, Bramha Kumari, Busti Vikas Samity and other.
Residents of the area along with representatives from Kendriya Vikas Samity, Laxminagar were present to witness the inauguration of the park.
