Jamshedpur: Medical check-up of permanent staff at Tata Motors is set to become stricter following the recent death of a company employee Dhirendra Kumar following health problem.
The speculation took centre-stage during discussions among employees on Wednesday. Employees have especially become wary of their fitness status as they may be declared medically unfit if the health check-up throws up unfavourable findings, said one of the employees on condition of anonymity.
Dhirendra Kumar had died after punching his attendance. His death led to agitation by various political parties to demand jobs for his wife.
