Earth Day observed in Hill Top School

Jamshedpur: World Earth Day was observed with enthusiasm by Eco Club members and students of Hill Top School.

The event started with a speech by Ayati Mishra of Class X in honour of the precious and significant elements and gifts given to mankind by ‘Mother Earth’ which include water, air, living organisms and natural resources.

Due to deforestation, global warming and ozone depletion, planet earth is facing a crisis of existence, the speaker said.

This was followed by a Group Song “Hawae Path pani Per Jungle Sabse Sona Hai” by the Music Club of Hill Top School. Leaflets, ‘Segregation of Waste, was released by the Principal, Puneeta B Chouhan who gave a speech relating to saving Mother Earth.

Thereafter a skit was presented by students of classes 7, 8 & 9. The slogan for the skit was “Save Trees, Save Earth”. The programme ended with the school song.
