Jadugoda, Sept 29: As the various Durga Puja committees in and around Jadugoda get busy in giving the final shapes to Durga Puja preparations, the festive hustle—bustle is very much palpable in the spring in the strides of people bracing up to dive into the Puja mood after the lackluster two year phase when the COVID fear was playing spoilsport with people’s festive Puja spirits.

With protocols eased, the gaiety synonymous with Durga Puja is back on the streets and shops as also in homes. The Community Durga Puja at Jadugoda Chowk wqill be the centre of attraction as the glory of Shiv-Parvati will be the theme of its Puja celebrations. The décor and idols have cost Rs 10 lakh at this pandal. Committee member Anil Agarwal said that the woodwork and the artistry of its execution will be the focal point of pandal hoppers this year.
