Jamshedpur, Nov 1: The Adityapur police acting on a secret tipoff of notoriouis criminal Mehendi Hassan once again being active in sale of brown sugar, swooped down in Muslim Basti of Adityapur and arrested him. They recovered 29 packets of brown sugar from his possession. A few days earlier the Adityapur police had warned criminal elements residing in the Muslim Basti under its jurisdiction to abstain from illegal activities. As a result the otherwise flourishing business of brown sugar dealings had come to a stop. But once again drug peddlers in and around Adityapur Muslim Basti have started their clandestine business.
