But in 44 members new committee neither Dhanbad nor Jamshedpur has got any post .

In the election held on January 20, president Dr Bimlesh Singh, 7 vice –president out of 8,  treasurer Dr Stephan Xess, 8 joint secretary  were  elected unopposed. The elections held  for post of  convener, secretary and v ice-president of Kolhan Division.

No doctor from Dhanbad contested for any post. Though Jamshedpur’s  Dr Shahid Anwar contested  for  Kolhan Division’s vice-president post, he lost  to Dr Jagannath Hembram of West Singhbhum.

Senior medical officers of Dhanbad , Jamshedpur said that since both the districts are prominent after Ranchi both should have been given a place at least in  6 members executive committee or in  18 members Central Committee.

Jamshedpur civil surgeon Dr Shahir Pal, who was to contest election for president post, has also not given any role.

Whereas Dhanbad  is concerned , JSHSA district body was defunct there. Three months ago new committee ( Dr Ashutosh Singh president and Dr Jitesh Ranjan  secretary)  were formed and they are working  excellent.

“JSHSA’s fundamental mission is to  solve problems of  medical officers  so that  doctors  of state do not  flee and medicos of other states come .   We also want  toimprove   health services so that patients can get  quality treatment “, said Dr Thakur Mritunjay Kumar Singh.
