DLSA ‘Mann Se Milan Pakhwada’ from May 29

Jamshedpur, May 25:  The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), as per guidelines of Jharkhand Legal Services Authority (JHLSA) will organize ‘Mann Se Milan Pakhwada,’ a fortnight long programme for counseling and mutual resolution of outstanding disputes, between May 29 and June 14. The programme will be organized under the chairmanship of Principal District and Sessions Judge Anil Kumar Mishra.

DLSA Secretary Nitish Nilesh Sanga, while giving this brief stated that the ‘Mann Se Milan Pakhwada,’ a programme with emphasis on mediation, will be organized across Jharkhand including the East Singhbhum chapter. “DLSA has made all necessary arrangements for this fortnight long programme. An intensive awareness campaign will be launched throughout East Singhbhum and mediation sessions will be conducted at different points of the district,” stated NN Sanga. Featured in the ‘Mann se Milan Pakhwada would be awareness programmes and counseling services, facets on Mediation and Lok Adalat through audio-visual medium and application and suggestions for pending or pre-litigation cases.

The specific features of mediation will be that absolute confidentiality would be maintained on all information, consent of participation in the mediation will be required and parties to dispute mediations should seek amicable solution to their bones of contention thereby saving time, money and personal relationships.

The time set for mediation by police officials concerned and Secretary DLSA is between 7 am and 12 noon. DLSA Secretary Nitish Nilesh Sanga said, “The ‘Mann Se Milan Pakhwada’ is a good opportunity to resolve all outstanding disputes thereby saving time, money and relationships. People concerned should take advantage of the fortnight long programme.”
