Jamshedpur, March 26 : In a key administrative reshuffle in the state health services, Dr. Jujhar Manjhi has been appointed as the civil surgeon of West Singhbhum district.
He assumed charge at Chaibasa on Thursday.
Dr. Manjhi, who was serving as the Deputy Superintendent at MGM Medical College Hospital and also held the position of Additional Chief Medical Officer in Seraikela-Kharsawan, has been entrusted with this important responsibility following his inclusion in the waiting list earlier.
Alongside this development, Dr. Swati Kumari has been appointed as the Medical Officer at the Sadar Hospital in East Singhbhum.
She was previously associated with MGM Hospital.
Speaking on his new role, Dr. Manjhi confirmed that he formally took charge in Chaibasa on Thursday.
The reshuffle is seen as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen administrative efficiency in district healthcare services.
