Debts force Jamshedpur woman to end life

Jamshedpur, Oct 23: Mango police recovered the body of a woman from Subarnarekha river near Mango Workers College on Friday afternoon, who was identified as Veena Devi, a woman of Sonari. The woman was under debt and she committed suicide by jumping into the river. She had also left a suicide note in the house in which she mentioned that she had committed suicide.

Mango police station in-charge Vinay Kumar said that the local people had informed about the body being found in the river. Probably the age of the woman will be closer to 35-40. It is noteworthy that after the recovery of the dead body, the police of Mango police station had sent information to the police of the adjoining police station area.On Friday itself, it was feared that the dead body had come from some other area in the river. An FIR has been registered in Mango police station for unnatural death.
