Darbhanga man booked for sexual exploitation

Jamshedpur, Aug 28: A woman from Jugsalai has accused a Bihar native, identified as Mohammad Shakeel, for allegedly exploiting her sexually in the name of marriage. She lodged a police complaint against the accused in this connection.

Police said the accused reportedly befriended the alleged victim over Facebook and called her at a Jugsalai-based hotel. In the hotel, the man established sexual relations with the woman after allegedly promising to marry her. When the woman asked the man to marry her, he left Jugsalai and went away. Despite her best efforts, the woman could not persuade the man to marry her, police said.

Cops said Shakeel, a resident of Darbhanga, stayed at a rented accommodation in Jugsalai. He used to meet the woman every day. The latter too, had gone to Darbhanga to meet him.
