Jamshedpur : Congress Party today demanded 27 per cent reservation for OBCs. The activists under the banner of OBC cell of Congress staged a dharna in favour of their demands.
They also demanded transparency to prevent the rigging and unloading at ground level at Bahragora, Ghatsila, Mussabani, Chakulia, Patamda, Potka.
Surendra Sharma, District President of Congress OBC Cell handed a memorandum. MLA Banna Gupta , District President Rabindra Jha , senior leader Sardar Baldev Singh , Anand Bihari Dubey , Upendra Singh Mastan , Pawan Kumar Jha , Paritosh Singh , Ashok Mahato , Riajuddin Khan and Sanjay Yadav were present .
