Ranchi, Sept 21: Reviewing the preparation of MUDRA Mega Camp at Dumka, Chief Secretary Mr. Rajiv Gauba told the officers that instead of taking it only as a camp, it should be taken as an opportunity to provide employment to the youths.
Principal Secretary, Planning �cum-Finance Mr. Amit Khare told the officers to complete the given target in timeframe. He said that the people should get loans in different fields so that qualitative asset could be developed.
The Chief Secretary directed other districts to ascertain propagation of benefits of MUDRA bank through PRD in the line of various artist troupes in Dumka. He said that people should have clear cut idea about various functions of MUDRA bank & how loan can be availed from it.
He said that there should be qualitative variation in the exhibition of assets in MUDRA Mega camp. He said that bringing people unrestricted to the camp is itself an important work. Moreover, beneficiaries should be selected from every section of the society.
He appealed to the officers to educate & guide people especially tribal�s about its benefits.The CS directed the banks to find out the hindrance in granting loans to people & sort them out.
Having returned from Dumka, the CS directed the DCs of all the districts through video conferencing to complete the target of loan to be given to self-help groups, small industries & business by 23rd September & send the report to headquarters.
He directed to prepare a detailed report about the banks showing slackness in delivering loans & send it to the Finance Department. He said to provide timely loans against applications of self-help groups. He directed officers to collect data from all the banks & send to S.L.B.C. & the govt. for documentation.
He asked to ascertain no application remains pending. He said that it is a matter of great pleasure that MUDRA bank is going to be started from Jharkhand. The entire document regarding MUDRA bank will be submitted to the Prime Minister, hence negligence will not be tolerated at any level.
