Koderma: Chief Minister Hemant Soren is scheduled to visit Koderma on Tuesday to partake in the ‘Aapki Yojana, Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ program. The event, set to take place at Bagitand Stadium in the district headquarters, will witness the inauguration of 175 schemes worth Rs 123 crore 81 lakh 36 thousand 330, the distribution of Rs 309 crore 28 lakh 11 thousand 306, and the laying of the foundation stone for 19 schemes.
The schemes primarily encompass projects like Banindore Stadium, the Excise Department office, and others within Koderma. Assets amounting to Rs 10 crore 49 lakh 62 thousand 130 will be distributed among 19,033 beneficiaries during the program. The Chief Minister is expected to unveil schemes worth a total of Rs 443 crore 50 lakh.
Preparations at the venue, Bagitand Stadium, are extensive, featuring a large pandal with a capacity to seat over five thousand people. The district administration is leaving no room for lapses in arrangements. The Chief Minister will arrive at Bagitand around 12:45 pm, following a helicopter journey from Giridih to the temporary helipad at JJ College Ground, Jhumritilaiya.
District Collector Megha Bhardwaj inspected the ground preparations on Monday. She evaluated the readiness at JJ College and Bagitand Stadium, interacting with officials to ensure thorough preparations for the Chief Minister’s visit. Party leaders from JMM, RJD, Congress, and constituent parties are eagerly anticipating the event. The Chief Minister is expected to receive a grand welcome from the JMM party during his visit.
