Jamshedpur: Chief Minister Raghubar Das has granted financial assistance to Divya Singh, a class 9 student of Shiksha Niketan, Telco, after her parents failed to deposit her school fees. District BJP president Dinesh Kumar handed a cheque of Rs 25,000 to the girl at his residential office.
Kumar said the girl�s mother had contacted district BJP spokesperson Ankit Anand for help as she was unable to bear the expenses of her daughter�s education. A letter was soon written to the CM who granted assistance to the student.
�The state government is committed to the cause of the poor people. The CM is working for the welfare of the people with dedication. He has truly made the �Beti bachao, beti padhao� campaign a grand success by helping many needy families and individuals,� said the BJP president.
