Tata Motors remembers Mahatma Gandhi, Lal Bahadur Shastri

Jamshedpur, Oct 2: Tata Motors along with its associate companies, Mansi Club members, senior dignitaries and union officials paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi, father of the nation, and Lal Bahadur Shastri, former Prime Minister, at Sumant Moolgaokar Stadium on October 2.

The programme commenced with floral tributes to the two leaders on their birth anniversary by chief guest A B Lall, Head � Manufacturing, CVBU, Guest of Honor Sampath Kumar Morri, Head � Jamshedpur Plant, Gurmeet Singh, President & R K Singh, General Secretary (Tata Motors Workers Union) followed by speeches from the guests.

The event drew the participation of a large number of employees, including senior executives of Tata Motors and subsidiary companies, Office Bearers of Tata Motors Workers Union, members of Mansi Club, School children from 16 schools (under Siksha Prasar Kendra) and other social organizations.

The program included �Walk for Life� by the participants and concluded with vote of thanks and distribution of chocolates to the school children by the Chief Guest.
