Jamshedpur: The two day classical music and dance festival by NRIs, organized for the first time in Jharkhand jointly by Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh and Swaranjali of New Delhi at the Michael John Auditorium was inaugurated today by chief guests Jharkhand Food and Civil Supplies Minister Saryu Roy, eminent medic Dr HS Paul and Secretary Pracheen Kala Kendra Sajjal Kosar by jointly lighting the traditional lamp.
The classical music and dance presentations engrossed the audience who applauded the artistes for their breathtaking performances.
The concluding day of the program would include honouring of 18 music and dance gurus of the city and four music lovers for their contribution to the propagation of classical music and dance.
