Jamshedpur, Jan 20: Gulmohur High School ushered the Platinum Jubilee year celebrations by organising an exhibition themed, ‘Chronicles of India: Heritage to Horizon,’ on Saturday, January 20. The Chief Guest for the event was Jivraj Singh Sandhu, General Manager, Tata Motors, Jamshedpur, CVERC. The event was also attended by school Secretary Monojit Chakraborty. The exhibition was judged by Sucheta Mishra and Tanushree Sengupta from Shiksha Niketan School, Rakesh Kumar Singh, Pinku Seth and Harpreet Kaur From Hill Top School and Manikuntala from Valley View School.

The exhibition aimed to showcase the rich heritage, vibrant present and a promising future of the nation. Students from classes VI to XII presented presentations and models that depicted the various aspects of the journey of India. The exhibition was divided into Art & Culture, Social Science and Science.

In the Social Science category, the glorious past of India was reflected. In the Art and Culture category the progress of Jharkhand was depicted. Models and presentations in the Science category showcased the cutting edge breakthroughs in Science shaping the futuristic India.
