Gamharia, Feb 27: Quality education is a sine qua non for social and national development. Today there is a need to provide quality education to children and hone their talent. Both teachers and parents should play their due role in building character of our children. This was observed on Wednesday by VL Gangras, Vice President of Craftsman Automation.

Gangras inaugurated a deep boring facility and expansion of boundary wall construction under corporate social responsibility at Primary School, Srirampur, Gamharia.

Also present on the occasion was Mrigendra Baira, Block Education Expansion Officer, Gamharia. He praised the company for its CSR activities and appealed to other companies of the area to carry out such welfare activities in the rural areas and help the government.

A cultural programme was presented by the students on this occasion. The winners of various contests held recently were also awarded. Many dignitaries were present during the event. They included VP Mohan Krishnan, Venkant Raman, Vidya Prakash, Sanjay Kumar, Elek Mahato, Avinash Soren and Budheshwar Nayak.
