Jamshedpur, April 20: Gulmohur High School, Telco is stepping into the future with the launch of an innovative AI-powered Smart Bell System. Developed by the school’s talented AI and Robotics team, this advanced system is designed to revolutionize daily scheduling through automation and precision.
Built on the ESP32 platform, the Smart Bell uses internet-based time synchronization (NTP) to ensure every period starts exactly on time. Unlike traditional systems, it operates independently without a computer and features a user-friendly web interface for manual or emergency overrides. Its “self-healing” WiFi capabilities ensure that operations resume instantly even after a power outage.
The project is a collaborative effort by students Akshat Sarkar, Aradhya Abhigyan, Saharsh Kumar, Amrit Kumar Singh, and Rashika Singh, mentored by Sumeet and Vipul. This breakthrough reflects the school’s dedication to integrating Internet of Things (IoT) technology into infrastructure. By automating the bell, Gulmohur High School sets a new benchmark for how schools can harness modern tech to create a more efficient learning environment.
