Jamshedpur: A blood donation camp was organized at Red Cross Building, Sakchi, on Sunday in commemoration of late Chandrika Prasad Singh under the aegis of Jharkhand Chandravanshi Sabha. A total of 40 units of blood were collected on this occasion. The chief guest of the event was the state minister Saryu Roy. He paid tributes to late Chandrika Prasad Singh by offering flowers on his portrait. He felicitated the blood donors by giving them certificates and gifts. He praised the outfit members for organizing the blood camp. He said donating blood was a great humanitarian deed and was also a healthy thing to do. The programme was chaired by Shiv Murat Singh. Among those present on the occasion included Rajkumar Chandravanshi, Satyanarayan Singh, Ghanshyam Singh, Sunil Mukherjee and Samir Sarkar.
