Jamshedpur, June 9: State Minister Champai Soren and Ichagarh MLA Savita Mahato visited MGM Hospital on Thursday to see one Sawan Murmu, who is undergoing treatment for snake bite.
Sources said Murmu is a close acquaintance of Champai Soren. A resident of Kasiabera under Kowali PS area, Murmu was bitten by a snake on Tuesday last.
The family members of many patients complained to the Minister regarding alleged shortage of several life-saving medicines in the government hospital. They said most of the times the medicines prescribed by the doctors are not available in the hospital. As a result, the patients are asked to get them from outside.
