Tata Motors Jamshedpur employee dies after falling from train

Jamshedpur, June 9: One Ram Babu Poddar, an employee of Tata Motors and a resident of Govindpur, died after falling from a train on his way to Kolkata on Thursday. He was critically injured in the incident and was taken to BM Birla Hospital where he died during treatment, sources said.

According to sources, Poddar, who worked in LP Fabrication department, was going to South Kali Ghat in Kolkata with his brother and sister-in-law in a train from Jamshedpur. Near Bali station, he fell from the train. He sustained critical head injuries in the incident.
