Chakradharpur DRM inspects Adityapur and Kandra Railway stations

Adityapur: Chakradharpur Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Tarun Huriya visited Adityapur railway station on Wednesday to review the station premises and passenger facilities. Expressing satisfaction with the overall condition of the station, he noted that all necessary preparations for its operation had been completed.

Addressing concerns about the stoppage of four express trains at Adityapur, DRM Huriya clarified that the decision lay with the Railway Board, not the divisional authorities. He emphasized that the station was fully equipped, and train operations would commence as soon as approval was received.

Adityapur railway station has been modernized to reduce the load on Tatanagar railway station, and the railways were prepared to initiate train operations. However, due to the impact of COVID-19, the stoppage of four express trains was affected, causing inconvenience to passengers. DRM Huriya assured that the station was expected to become fully operational within one year, with final preparations currently underway. He also urged local residents to help maintain cleanliness at the station.

In addition to Adityapur, DRM Huriya also inspected Kandra railway station, assessing passenger facilities and discussing improvement strategies with officials. He acknowledged Kandra as a crucial station on the route and confirmed that an action plan was being developed to enhance its infrastructure and services.
