CICASA organizes seminar on ‘Bank Audit 2025’ in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: The Central India Chartered Accountants Students Association (CICASA), under the Jamshedpur branch of ICAI, organized a seminar on ‘Bank Audit 2025’ at the Russi Modi Centre for Excellence (RMC) Auditorium on Wednesday. The seminar provided chartered accountancy students with key insights into the complexities and regulatory aspects of bank audits.

Renowned audit and finance expert CA (Dr.) Tulsi Ram Tibrewala from Kolkata led the session, emphasizing the critical role of compliance, risk assessment, and technological advancements in modern bank audits. He highlighted that bank audits went beyond regulatory compliance and contributed to the stability of the financial system. “Technology is making audits more effective, transparent, and reliable,” he remarked.

The event witnessed the participation of around 100 CA students from Jamshedpur. CA Chetan Agarwal, SICASA President (Jamshedpur Branch, ICAI), expressed gratitude to the speakers and all present, underscoring the importance of continuous learning in the field of auditing. CA Kaushalendra Das, Branch President, stressed that the knowledge shared in the seminar would help shape the auditors of the future, fostering a more accountable financial sector.

The seminar’s organizing team included CA Kaushalendra Das, CA Chetan Agarwal, CA Rishi Arora, and CA Anand Agarwal.
