Chaibasa: Kalpana Soren accuses BJP of obstructing campaign trail

Chaibasa, November 11: Kalpana Soren, star campaigner for Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), addressed an election meeting in Jagannathpur in support of Congress candidate Sonaram Sinku from the INDI Alliance. Kalpana arrived two hours late at the meeting accusing the BJP for adopting negative tactics to hinder her campaign efforts.

Throughout her speech, Kalpana Soren criticized the BJP, asserting that the party’s goal was to prevent tribal progress and take away tribal lands. She informed that her helicopter was initially denied clearance to fly from Ghatsila, preventing her from reaching campaign stops in Jagannathpur, Latehar, and Torpa as planned. Despite difficulties, Soren managed to reach Jagannathpur but was unable to proceed to Latehar.
