Jamshedpur, May 23: “Customers should tell us about their needs for loans and we will be ready to adjust our schemes to suit their financial requirements,” observed Central Bank of India’s General Manager, Y Anil Kumar while addressing customers under the institution’s Credit Outreach Programme on Monday, May 23.
Loans worth Rs 40 crore were given to 25 medium micro and micro enterprises under the Self-Reliant India scheme during Central Bank of India’s Credit Outreach Program organized in Bistupur. The General Manager, in his address said, “Central Bank is the first indigenous bank of the country. We saw many ups and downs and confronted several challenges successfully. We are well on our way of transformation in this age of digitalization. Tell us what expectations the Tata Group of Companies like Tata Steel, Tata Motors among others have of us and we are ready to fulfill them. If needed, we will not be found wanting but ready to modify our policy accordingly.”
Central Bank of India’s General Manager, Y Anil Kumar further stated, “Jamshedpur is a city where apart from the Tata Group companies, there are a large number of small, medium and big companies operating in Adityapur Industrial Area. The companies here have immense potentials for allround development. In their process of development I would assure that you go ahead and Central Bank of India is ready to meet every financial need of yours.”
The Central Bank’s General Manager said, “We have set a growth target of 25 percent for the fiscal year 2022-2023. However, our expectations for Jamshedpur are much higher than this percentage figure.”
The Bank’s Ranchi Regional Manager, Sunil Kumar who was specially present on the occasion, said that with the advent of the digitalization era, rapid changes had been effected throughout the world. “Being in tandem with the rapidly changing scenario, Central Bank too is effectively changing its ways and opening up to changing financial status so that we stand by the financial needs and are braced up to readily extend our supportive hand. A customer can also give a missed call and the Bank will give an immediate response to accommodate loan queries and extend a suitable scheme for his financial requirement. We at Central Bank just need to know of a customer’s financial requirement from us and we will provide the loan under a suitable scheme or prepare a scheme to accommodate a customer’s financial requirement.”
Among others present during the programme included the Bank’s Jamshedpur Branch’s Chief Manager Anshu Jha, Adityapur Branch Manager Santosh Kumar, Telco Branch Manager Mukesh Kumar, Sakchi Branch Manager Abhishek Kumar, Burmamines Branch Manager Divya Shandilya and senior office bearers of the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Builders’ Association and senior representatives of JIADA.
