Jamshedpur, Sep 9: This year’s bonus agreement is the best so far. We did our best to achieve it. Our entire team toiled for it. I got the support of General Secretary and Deputy President in ensuring best bonus for the employees till date, said Sanjeev Choudhary Tunnu, president of Tata Workers Union after signing the bonus agreement.
Bonus recognition of employees’ contribution: Satish Singh
The company’s profit has gone up this year and it has agreed to the bonus proposal given by the union keeping in mind the contribution made by all of its employees. I thank and congratulate Tata Steel MD and other senior officials on behalf of the union and also congratulate all employees. TWU top three get grand welcome post bonus agreement
Tata Workers Union office witnessed Holi and Diwali celebrations simultaneously on Friday with the union members hailing the top three, president Sanjeev Choudhary Tunnu, general secretary Satish Singh and deputy president Shailesh Singh, for the historic bonus of 20 per cent. Abir and gulal were smeared on each other’s faces by the union members. Amid the beating of drums, the union members garlanded the top three and burst firecrackers to celebrate the occasion.
TWU leaders gloat over historic bonus agreement
Tata Workers Union president Sanjeev Choudhary Tunnu and his team claimed a historic achievement by ensuring 20 per cent bonus for Tata Steel employees. Although the annual bonus amount is limited to 20 per cent, the total benefit to the employees went up by Rs 20,000 given to them as goodwill amount this year. Since the bonus amount cannot exceed 20 per cent, it was decided to demand extra monetary benefit in terms of goodwill amount, sources said.
